A London school teacher was banned from working with children for her words that Britain is a Christian country. This was reported by The Telegraph.
It is reported that back in April, a primary school teacher was summoned to the local council for the protection of children, after which she was suspended from work, and then fired. She was also informed that the situation was being checked by a senior Scotland Yard detective, but subsequently the check was curtailed.
According to the newspaper, the teacher reprimanded the students for washing their feet in the sinks in the men's room. The children complained to the administration that the woman called her school secular and advised them to go to an institution for Muslims located nearby. Most of the students were outraged by her words that Britain remains a Christian country and is ruled by the king.
The woman filed a lawsuit, enlisting the support of the trade union For freedom of speech. Her lawyers subsequently proved that the school was not in fact religious and that prayers on the playground were informally prohibited. At the moment it is known that the teacher was allowed to work part-time in one of the schools outside the city.
