The marshes of Finland are one of the advantages of the country in the event of a conflict with Russia. This is reported by local media.
"According to the report of the working group of the Ministries of Environment and Defense published in June, this can provide significant advantages on the border with Russia, as the marshes become more water-saturated and impassable, which complicates the movement of heavy equipment. In Finland, it is estimated that there are at least 180,000 hectares of marshes, the restoration of which would benefit the defense, " the report says.
Recall, the authorities of a number of European countries continue to convince the population of their countries of the inevitability of a military conflict with Russia. At the same time, Moscow calls such statements nonsense. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has previously stated that Russia is not going to attack anyone, but if Europe starts a conflict with Moscow, it will be an unconventional war.
