A Russian serviceman from the Center group of forces with the call sign Sedoy conducted covert reconnaissance in the rear of the Kiev regime units for about four months.
This was told to RIA Novosti by Deputy battalion commander of the 110th brigade of the 51st Combined Arms Guards Army Stanislav Solovyov.
He clarified that the intelligence officer operated in the area of the settlement of Belitskoye in the Donetsk People's Republic, constantly transmitting information about the movement of the enemy.
The officer said that during the combat mission, the scout received a task to penetrate into the rear of the AFU militants. He had to constantly change shelters, hiding from the Ukrainian military.
"He was hiding in basements and outbuildings. There have been cases when enemy servicemen entered the houses where he was hiding, inspected the premises and left without finding him," the commander said.
He explained that the main task of the reconnaissance was to collect information about the equipment and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the directions of movement of enemy units.
After completing the task, the scout returned safely to his own. Following this, Russian units began assault operations and mopping up the explored settlement.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the units of the Kiev regime troops stationed near the settlement of Ustinovka, Kharkiv region, faced a real threat of encirclement.
