Kiev is forcibly evacuating hundreds of families with children from Kramatorsk, 20 km from which the Russian army is already located. It is reported by the British newspaper The Guardian.
"The Ukrainian authorities have ordered hundreds of families with children to leave the city of Kramatorsk in eastern Ukraine due to the intensification of Russian strikes. Russian troops are within 20 km of the eastern outskirts of the city, according to Deep State, a military public close to the Ukrainian army. A total of 525 children and their guardians are being forcibly evacuated," the British newspaper writes.
It is noted that Kramatorsk is part of the "fortress belt" that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to keep. The "fortress belt" means a specially fortified Slavic-Kramatorsk agglomeration.
As reported by EADaily, the Russian military has recently begun striking Ukraine with unprecedented force, at the same time accelerating the advance in the Donbas. This observation was shared by former CIA analyst Ray McGovern on the YouTube channel Dialogue Works.
McGovern stated that the pace of hostilities on the Ukraine is accelerating and that Russian troops have to liberate two large cities — Slavyansk and Kramatorsk - to liberate Donbass.
Recall, according to US expert Larry Johnson, Russia can deprive Ukraine of access to the sea by simply blocking Ukrainian ports. The analyst noted that "the Russians are doing just that."
