Russia has no plans to attack Europe, as there is no subject for such a military conflict. This was stated by the head of the Information Policy Commission of the Federation Council Alexei Pushkov.

"Russia will not attack Europe, because we have absolutely no complaints about it. No complaints either to Finland or to Neither to Poland, nor to other countries bordering us. We have no subject for a military conflict with Europe," he said in an interview with the Serbian newspaper Politika,

According to him, the statements of European leaders that Russia allegedly wants to attack Europe are connected with the desire to accept Ukraine into NATO in order to turn it into a springboard for the deployment of military bases and weapons aimed at the Russian Federation. The senator noted that anti-Russian rhetoric is needed The EU to justify further financing and arming Kiev. In this regard, he cited the example of French President Emmanuel Macron, who claims that he "sees Russians at the gates of Paris." According to him, the French see his statements as fiction and "anti-Russian hysteria", which allows The EU must justify its support for Ukraine.
