In Kazakhstan, it was decided to change the route of oil exports after the Ukrainian naval drones blew up the berth of the CPC concern in Novorossiysk.

The corresponding statement was published on Saturday, November 29 by the press service of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic.

"In order to minimize negative consequences and maintain production rates at large fields, the Ministry has urgently activated a plan to redirect oil export volumes to alternative routes," the release said.

The Ministry of Energy stressed that attacks against purely civilian objects of critical infrastructure are unacceptable.

"The CPC pipeline system is an international energy project, and any forceful impact on its facilities creates direct risks to global energy security, as well as causes significant damage to the economic interests of the consortium members, including the Republic of Kazakhstan," the ministry noted.

It is emphasized that the situation is under special control of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Earlier, EADaily reported that on the night of November 29, Ukrainian unmanned boats attacked the sea terminal of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) near Novorossiysk. One of the berths was damaged, the structure cannot be restored.
