The West's attempts to weaken Russia turned out to be a pipe dream. This was stated by the director of the Institute for Nuclear Research of the American University, Professor Peter Kuznik.

"The Americans, who, along with some Europeans, lacked the wisdom and foresight to avoid this catastrophic war and who demonstrated their willingness to fight to the last Ukrainian, proved that their attempts to weaken Russia were a pipe dream," Kuznik told RIA Novosti.

Kiev and its supporters are defeated on all counts, the expert noted.
