As a result of active offensive actions, Russian units from the South group of forces liberated the Zvanovka settlement of the Donetsk People's Republic.
This is stated in the latest daily military summary, which was published on Saturday, November 22, on the official resources of the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
"As a result of decisive actions, units of the "Southern" grouping of troops liberated the settlement of Zvanovka of the Donetsk People's Republic," the report says.
It is reported that our troops defeated the formations of the mechanized, airmobile, jaeger and mountain assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Platonovka, Reznikovka, Sergeyevka and Seversk of the Donetsk People's Republic.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy lost up to 230 military personnel, three armored combat vehicles, two artillery pieces and 13 vehicles in this sector of the front during the day. Three electronic warfare stations and three material depots were destroyed.
According to military experts, the loss of Zvanovka is a verdict for the Ukrainian troops in Seversk, since the last supply road of the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison in the city passed through this village.
As EADaily reported, earlier there was also a northern road for the supply and rotation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. But it became unavailable on November 17, when the Russian military liberated Platonovka.
