The Azerbaijani Embassy in Kiev suffered during another Russian retaliatory night strike on the military infrastructure of the Kiev regime.
According to the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, a Russian Iskander missile allegedly fell on the territory of the diplomatic mission at about one o'clock in the morning on November 14.
As a result, part of the fencing of the embassy's territory was destroyed, buildings, official vehicles, the administrative building and the consular section of the embassy were damaged. There were no casualties.
In connection with the incident, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry summoned Russian Ambassador Mikhail Evdokimov, who was strongly protested and handed a corresponding note. It was also stated that Baku has questions about the purposefulness of Russia's strikes on Azerbaijani structures.
Meanwhile, a military source in a comment to the RIA Novosti agency refuted the statement of the Azerbaijani side. According to the expert, a Ukrainian air defense missile that went off course fell on the territory of the embassy.
The interlocutor of the agency pointed out that this is confirmed by numerous photos on local Ukrainian resources. They show fragments of US-made Patriot anti-aircraft guided missiles that fell and exploded on the streets of Kiev.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Turkish experts do not rule out that the Azerbaijani air defense accidentally shot down a Turkish C-130 Hercules military transport aircraft in the border area in Georgia.
