Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani got into an altercation in absentia with the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini because of his words about refusing to support Ukraine, La Stampa writes.
"We will continue to support Ukraine, which is still being attacked by Russia," Tajani said in response to Salvini's statement.
The day before, Salvini expressed fears that the money of Italian taxpayers, which is directed to the purchase of weapons to the Kiev regime, could fuel corruption in the Ukraine. In this regard, the League party, which he heads, called for clarification of the recent corruption scandal in the entourage of Vladimir Zelensky.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) announced on November 10 that it was conducting a large-scale special operation in the energy sector, and published a photo with bags stuffed with bundles of foreign currency found during the operation. The deputy of Rada Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported that NABU conducts searches at the ex-Minister of Energy and the current Minister of Justice German Galushchenko, as well as at Energoatom. The Ukrainska Pravda newspaper, citing a source, reported that NABU officers also came with searches to businessman and Zelensky's associate Timur Mindich, who, as it turned out, managed to leave Ukraine.
