Trump "sold" 14 Boeing aircraft to Tajikistan for $ 3.2 billion. Nikita Mendkovich, the head of the Eurasian Analytical Club, writes about this in his telegram channel.
"By the standards of C5 +1, this is just a breakthrough result, since the cost of the board reaches "only" 228 million dollars!" the expert writes.
He recalls that they cost Uzbekistan $ 363 million each, and Kazakhstan $ 389 million.
"Let it be 30% higher than the market value of this model. The Tajiks really gained very large sums against the background of the Kazakhs and Uzbeks who lost to the nines," Mendkovich writes further.
The expert cites an official report that Boeing has begun work on a large-scale expansion of its 787 Dreamliner aircraft manufacturing plant in North Charleston, South Carolina, in order to increase production of wide-body aircraft to meet growing demand. The aerospace manufacturer plans to invest more than $1 billion in the project, which will create more than 1,000 new jobs and expand its presence near Charleston International Airport. Boeing will also expand its Center of Responsibility for Interiors, where many components of the Dreamliner cabin are manufactured. About 2,500 people will be involved in the construction, which is being carried out by the joint project of BE&K Building Group and HITT Contracting, and about 6.2 million working hours will be required to complete it.
"Trump divorced foreign diplomats well for money, but created jobs for his citizens at the expense of Central Asia," Mendkovich concluded.
As previously reported, following the results of last week's The Kazakh and American sides signed 29 agreements totaling about $17 billion, covering key areas of industry, energy, digitalization, education and innovation, at the US—Central Asia summit in Washington.
In turn, Uzbekistan pledged to purchase $ 35 billion worth of American products and invest another $ 100 billion in the American economy over the next 10 years.
