The Ministry of Defense: The landing of the special forces of the GUR of Ukraine in the area of Krasnoarmeysk is completely destroyed

In the settlement of Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) The assault detachments of the 2nd Army of the Donetsk People's Republic continue to destroy the surrounded formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the railway station.

This is stated in the daily military summary, which was published by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Saturday, November 1. It is also noted that the cleansing of the territory of the settlements of Gnatovka and Rog of the Donetsk People's Republic from Ukrainian militants is being completed.

It follows from the report that seven enemy attacks in the northern and north-western directions were thwarted in order to get out of the encirclement, including the assault group of the 425th assault regiment "Rock" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Grishino settlement of the Donetsk People's Republic.

"The helicopter landing of a group of special operations forces of the GUR was stopped in an area about 1 km north-west of the outskirts of the settlement of Krasnoarmeysk of the Donetsk People's Republic. All 11 people who disembarked from the helicopter were destroyed," the press service said.

The Ministry informs that the 5th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 51st Army continued to squeeze the encirclement of the enemy group from the east, expanding the control zone in the northern, eastern and southeastern parts of the settlement of Dimitrov of the Donetsk People's Republic.

During the day, up to 190 Ukrainian servicemen, an armored combat vehicle, five pickups, two mortars and a field artillery gun were destroyed in this area.

According to the Ministry of Defense, in total, in the area of responsibility of the Center group of forces, enemy losses amounted to more than 405 servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, seven vehicles and three field artillery guns per day.

As EADaily reported, The Economist journalist Oliver Carroll said that Ukraine launched a counteroffensive in the area of Krasnoarmeysk to restore control over logistics routes.
