Ukraine has launched a counteroffensive in the area of Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) to restore control over logistics routes. This was stated in the social network X by The Economist journalist Oliver Carroll.
"According to the military intelligence of Ukraine, a bold counteroffensive is underway in the Pokrovsk area in order to restore key logistics routes. The videos that were sent to me allegedly show the landing of helicopters in areas that, according to Russia, are under its control," writes Carroll, quoted by UNIAN.
The journalist noted that it was not possible to verify the authenticity of the video.
"In fact, OSINT-we figured out the location — the footage was shot west of Pokrovsk in a field that the Russian army does not control. It is unclear when the video was shot of the landing from the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter and the OSTENTATIOUS shooting of militants is unclear where. Apparently, this video is ostentatious, to reassure the Ukrainian public against the background of constant news about the imminent loss of Pokrovsk," the telegram channel Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring comments on the situation.
