Ruslan Ostashko, a Russian blogger and journalist leading the headings in the program "Time will Tell" on Channel One, is confident that Russophobia around the world will disappear if Russia introduces a special foreign trade policy. He spoke about this in the Metametrica project on RuTube.
Ostashko stressed that Russia is the richest country and it needs to develop special conditions for foreign trade. He proposed to make the prices of Russian goods and natural resources three times lower for partner countries than for unfriendly states.
"By selling three times more expensive than friends, we undermine their economic opportunities to invest this money in weapons and other bad things. They don't understand it any other way. In the West, everything is just like that, except for money," Ostashko believes.
He added that this is not a question of dignity, but of common sense.
"And when they realize that it is beneficial to be friends with us, believe me, Russophobia will end," the TV presenter concluded.
As reported earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow is gradually moving away from using the term "unfriendly countries", based on the fact that there are unfriendly governments, not states.
He also stated that the unification line of the Russian Federation enjoys the support of the world community, even in unfriendly countries there are many who sympathize with Russia and share its values.
