The United States has not refused to hold a summit of Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump in Budapest. This was stated on the social network X by Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto after a meeting in Washington with Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
The only question is the timing of the summit, he said.

After my meeting with Secretary of State Rubio, it became clear that the United States had not abandoned the Budapest Peace Summit.
