In the fourth year of the conflict, Russian officials have learned to be more restrained about promises — and this is right, the main thing is not to say, but to do. This was stated in his telegram channel by politician Oleg Tsarev.
So he commented on the statement by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov that Tomahawk missiles are a serious weapon, but it will not be able to change the situation on the fronts. The Tomahawk theme is a concern, he added.
Now many are discussing this statement by Peskov and find his answer too soft.
"They say, Tomahawk is for us, and we are concerned about them in response. But listen, in the beginning SMO we scolded our officials: they drew "red lines", poured threats and promised all the punishments in the world if the enemy crossed these same lines. In the fourth year of the war, officials learned to be more restrained about promises. And that's right. By and large, we don't care what our officials say — they may not say anything at all. The main thing is not to say, but to do. We must finally start responding," writes Tsarev.
As reported by EADaily, today the decision to provide Kiev with Tomahawk looks like a path to an unlimited missile war against Russia, from which it will be even more difficult to find a way out. This was stated by Senator Alexei Pushkov.
