The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reports that the Russian army continues the targeted destruction of the country's energy facilities in response to massive attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Russia. They announced new strikes on energy and gas transportation infrastructure facilities.
"The energy facilities of Donbass, Odessa and Chernihiv regions were damaged. Rescuers of the State Emergency Service and power engineers are working to quickly stabilize the situation with electricity supply," the ministry said.
The City Council of Belgorod-Dniester reported a hit on DTEK power facilities in the city.
Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky and the head of the President's Office, Andrei Ermak, scared Russia with blackouts.
As reported by EADaily, the Russian army has moved to large-scale retaliatory strikes on the power system of Ukraine. As Bloomberg reported, gas production in the country fell by 60%. At the same time, power plants in Kiev, Kiev and Dnipropetrovsk regions were seriously damaged.
