The Russian Armed Forces carried out more than 26 strikes on power facilities of Ukraine in a day. This was stated at a meeting with the ambassadors of the Group of Seven countries by the country's Energy Minister Svetlana Grinchuk.
"In these days alone we have more than 26 attacks on our energy facilities. Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Odessa and Poltava region is actually under the daily sights of the enemy," Grinchuk said.
She noted that Ukraine urgently needs more air defense systems, as well as electronic warfare systems to protect critical infrastructure, and called on the G7 to help with additional equipment. Not necessarily new, she stressed, but working, so that they could replace the destroyed.
According to Grischuk, the partners have been given a list of urgent needs with which each country of the "seven" will work separately.
As EADaily reported, on the night of October 7, a massive strike was carried out with high-precision long-range ground-, sea- and air-based weapons, including Kinzhal hypersonic aeroballistic missiles, as well as strike UAVs against enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine and gas and energy infrastructure facilities that ensured their operation. The strike targets have been achieved. All assigned objects are affected. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
