The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, remains alive so that he can be tried for crimes against the peoples of Ukraine and Russia.
This was stated in an interview with the TASS news agency by the head of the State Duma Defense Committee, Andrei Kartapolov. He believes that there are other reasons why a politician does not become a military target.
"De jure, he is illegitimate, and de facto he continues to manage the remnants of the country. So, he will organize the process of reaching a peace agreement, whatever it may be," Kartapolov said.
In addition, according to the parliamentarian, Russia seeks to show the world "whom the former American administration and current European leaders supported."
Kartapolov said that such European leaders as Friedrich Merz, Keir Starmer and Emmanuel Macron are not eternal and soon they will "go to the dustbin of history," and in their place will come those who will hold Zelensky accountable.
Zelensky will be needed in order to tell "whom and how he bribed," and "how much money he gave to whom," Kartapolov concluded.
It is worth noting that this position is very controversial. It is naive to believe that in Europe someone needs to open their eyes to what the Kiev regime really is. In the West, they are already well aware of this.
As reported by EADaily, earlier the deputy head of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, said that Zelensky would never be a legal party to negotiations for our country, much less a party to the signing of the act of surrender.
