Nikita Mikhalkov, Chairman of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, People's Artist of the RSFSR, spoke about his state of health. This is reported by the portal GOROD48.
At a press conference in Lipetsk, journalists asked the filmmaker about his health after singer Alla Pugacheva sent greetings to Mikhalkov and wished him health in a scandalous interview.
"What kind of problems? My back hurts — it's true," Mikhalkov replied.
The publication also notes that at the press conference the director, who will celebrate his 80th birthday on October 21, appeared with a cane.
Recall, in an interview Pugacheva said that Mikhalkov for many years threatened to invite her to shoot as a "comic old woman."
"I adore him, I love him… I think he treats me well, too, despite what he says," the singer said.
After that, she turned to Mikhalkov directly.
"Nikita Sergeevich, Nikitushka, don't hurt! (I know he has some pain). Don't hurt. Be healthy and joyful," Pugacheva said.
