A SMO participant, former deputy head of the Nizhny Novgorod administration Ilya Shtokman, who is suspected of receiving a bribe during the civil service, was detained in Sochi. This was reported by the Shot telegram channel.
"Shtokman was detained the day before in Sochi, now he is being taken to Nizhny Novgorod. Searches are taking place in the city administration. It was while working at the mayor's office, according to investigators, Shtokman received a bribe," writes TK Shot.
In August 2020, Shtokman became an adviser to the head of Nizhny Novgorod, and a month later he was transferred to the post of deputy head of the city administration. He was engaged in the development of information technology and urban digital infrastructure.
"In September 2022, Shtokman volunteered for SMO, served as the head of the psychological service of the regiment, and later returned to the civil service. At the end of August, the official left the post of the first deputy head of the administration of Nizhny Novgorod," said TC Shot.
