Mikhail Shufutinsky, a chansonnier born in Moscow, became the owner of a Russian passport, whereas he used to live in his homeland with a residence permit, being a US citizen. The Telegram channel SHOT informs about this today, September 5.
Why Shufutinsky decided to become a Russian right now is unknown. But journalists suggest that the 77-year-old artist may stay in Moscow for good.
EADaily reminds that the performer of the famous autumn hit about September 3 moved from the USSR to the USA back in 1981. He has grandchildren growing up overseas from two sons — David and Anton. The family has a lot of real estate in Philadelphia.
Earlier it also became known as a businessman from Russia wants to make money on Shufutinsky's hit.
