In Lviv, according to preliminary data, a high-ranking neo-Nazi, former chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy, was shot dead.

"Law enforcement officers are taking all measures to establish the identity of the shooter and his location," the national police said.

Parubiy was the "commandant of Euromaidan" in 2014. Then he got a job as Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine. In 2023, Russia put Parubiy on the wanted list.
"As a result of [Parubiy's] managerial decisions, the militants controlled by them carried out numerous shelling of the DPR and the LPR in 2014. As a result, more than 1,200 people were killed and injured," the Russian Investigative Committee said at the time.
