Employees of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation detained in Saratov region participant of the assassination attempt on the deputy head of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, General Yaroslav Moskalik.
The department clarified that the detained person involved, on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services, delivered explosives to the Moscow region, which were used to blow up the car of a Russian general.
The person involved is also involved in the transfer to Kiev of information about the servicemen of the Russian Aerospace Forces, managers and employees of defense enterprises, as well as critical and transport infrastructure facilities in the region.
The Ukrainian agent turned out to be a citizen of the Russian Federation born in 1976, who worked for the enemy for money. It was established that in July 2023, he initiated contact with an employee of the Ukrainian special services.
When recruiting, the traitor agreed "to carry out activities directed against the security of the Russian Federation for a monetary reward."
