US President Donald Trump said that the situation with the peaceful settlement of the Ukraine will become clear within two weeks. He noted that if there is no progress, Washington will change tactics.
The corresponding statement was made by the head of the White House in an interview with one of the American radio stations, Clash Report reports.
"In two weeks we will find out if there will be peace on Ukraine. After that, we may have to change tactics. We'll find out pretty soon," Trump said.
From the words of the American president, it is unclear which of the parties to the conflict he is ready to blame for disrupting the peace process. It is possible that the American president did not decide on this issue in advance.
Earlier, EADaily reported that US President Donald Trump announced plans to move away from the course of negotiations on the settlement of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia for some time.
