Kiev will have to give up part of the Ukrainian territories in exchange for peace — Kuznik

By now it has become quite obvious that the leadership of the Kiev regime will have to make territorial concessions in order to achieve peace.

This opinion was expressed to the TASS news agency by the director of the Institute for Nuclear Research of the American University in Washington, Professor Peter Kuznik.

In this way, he commented on the upcoming talks between the presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, to be held in Alaska on August 15.

"Zelensky claims that he will not exchange land for peace. However, everyone knows that he will have to do it. If he does not understand this, then Ukraine will have to find a leader who understands this," the professor stressed.

According to him, currently there are no prospects that Ukraine will be able to join NATO in the foreseeable future. Kiev will also not be able to return the lost territories by military means.

At the same time, the continuation of hostilities in the current conditions is fraught with the loss of "more and more Ukrainian lands," Kuznik believes.

"This corresponds to the real situation in which Ukraine is located, taking into account its lack of manpower, weapons, strategy, finances and morale," the American nuclear scientist concluded.

Earlier, EADaily reported that Kiev and Europe will try to disrupt or devalue the talks between the presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, because they do not want the war to end.
