The District court of the Austrian Korneuburg sentenced a 73-year-old Italian man who was accused of sexual abuse against a 14-year-old Ukrainian woman. The man received eight years in prison, according to the Austrian agency APA.
The indictment states that the sexual acts that led to the teenager's pregnancy began when the Ukrainian was 13 years old.
It is specified that the man met the girl with her mother and two sisters at the In Ukraine, back in 2022, he helped the family move to Austria, settling near them. After some time, the man began to show interest in the teenager, in 2024 she responded to his attentions.
After the girl's mother noticed signs of pregnancy, the Italian was detained. The mother insisted on an abortion.
The man did not admit his guilt, and also claimed that he was infertile. However, the examination refuted his words.
At the same time, "he confessed to making visual materials of a sexual nature." A guilty verdict was also handed down on charges of "abuse of authority", since the 73-year-old man was considered the guardian of a minor.
The verdict has not yet entered into force and can be appealed.
As EADaily reported, earlier a wedding of an adult man and a 9-year-old Ukrainian woman was planned at Disneyland Paris. After the arrival of the police, it became known that the ceremony was staged, and about a hundred guests at it were hired actors. However, the police detained four people — the "groom" from the UK, the girl's mother — a 41-year-old Ukrainian, as well as two Latvian citizens who participated in the organization of the "wedding".
It is possible that a convicted pedophile who has already organized such "staged weddings" is behind the planning of the event.
