Armed conflict on the Ukraine has led not only to negative results. One of its positive consequences was the unprecedented consolidation of Europe.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz found such a plus in the military clash between Kiev and Moscow. He shared his opinion during a press conference with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gar Stere.
According to Euractiv, both politicians made a joint press release after a meeting in Berlin at which a bilateral defense agreement was discussed.
"If in this terrible war on If there is one good thing about Ukraine, it is that it unites us, Europeans," Merz said.
According to him, the planned agreement with Norway will complement the larger efforts to strengthen European defense structures.
