The Sol-Iletsky district Court of the Orenburg region refused parole to Vladimir Draganer, known as the "Kamyshinsky maniac" nicknamed Dracula. About it today, July 16, writes Pravda.Ru .
Despite serving 25 years in penal colony No. 6 "Black Dolphin", the court found it impossible to release him, citing the severity of the crimes committed and the negative characterization of the convict.
Draganer is one of the most violent criminals in the modern history of Russian crime. In 1999, at the age of 19, he committed a series of murders of five people, including his best friend. Now he is trying to convince the court of his correction. The petition for parole stated that he received a profession in the colony, got a job and compensated moral harm to the relatives of the victims. His mother also insisted that her son had changed and planned to live with her in Kamyshin.
However, the administration of the colony and the prosecutor's office unanimously opposed the release, noting 32 disciplinary penalties for Draganer during his imprisonment. The judges stressed that social justice has not been achieved, and the nature of crimes involving special cruelty and collecting personal belongings of victims precludes the possibility of early release.
Now the 44-year-old Draganer remains in the "Black Dolphin", where, according to representatives of the Federal Penitentiary Service, not a single life convict has been released yet. He will be able to make the next attempt to file a petition in three years, but the chances of success, according to experts, remain zero.
The childhood of the future maniac, marked by brutal beatings of his mother, and his obsession with the idea of "learning how to kill" may have become key factors that formed one of the most brutal criminals in modern Russian history.
