The commander of the 110th separate mechanized brigade (OMBR) Sergey Zakharevich was killed today during a Russian strike on Gulyai-Pole. this was stated in an evening video message by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
"Regarding the strike on Gulyai-Pole... there are losses among the military and civilians. The commander of the 110th separate mechanized brigade, Colonel Zakharevich, and other guys from the brigade were killed," Zelensky said.
He did not go into details. According to Zelensky, an investigation is underway into the circumstances of the strike.
"The investigation into the circumstances of this strike is ongoing — I am waiting for the report. Everyone who was injured, and it was a missile strike, is being given the necessary assistance. More than 30 people were injured," he added.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces previously announced the arrival of two Iskanders in the Kamensky district in Gulyai-Pole. It was noted that there were injured and dead, the House of Culture, two shops and private houses were destroyed. According to "Ukraine.ru", in the DC there was a meeting of the command staff of the 10th OMBR.
According to Ukrainian media, the 10th Brigade suffered heavy losses as a result of a missile strike on Gulyai-Pole. Apparently, together with the brigade commander, the command staff was destroyed.
