The Azerbaijani band with the Russian-language repertoire "Caspian Cargo" actually did not show up for their concerts in Limassol (Cyprus) and London (Great Britain). This is reported by the Shot telegram channel.
The concert in Cyprus was scheduled for March 11, the ticket price reached 6 thousand rubles.
"But, according to fans, two hours before the start of the event, messages about the postponement began to arrive by e-mail. Most of these letters simply did not see, others they flew into spam, and some did not reach at all," the publication says.
The site administration claimed that they found out about the cancellation of the event only four hours before the start.
According to the telegram channel Mash, the musicians were not allowed into Cyprus by the border service, the organizers of the concert issued them only Schengen visas instead of workers, which would allow them to play a performance. All the equipment for the concert has already been prepared, the sound engineer specially flew in from Greece. As a result, the audience was not allowed into the hall — the representatives of the artists recommended that they return the tickets.
A similar story happened at a concert in London, which was scheduled to take place on March 12. At the same time, the rappers themselves posted photos from the Netherlands on their social media page, offering to buy tickets for a concert in Amsterdam.
Fans sarcastically "thank" the musicians for the lost concerts, but the band does not react to the outrage in any way and does not explain the cancellation situation.
Caspian Cargo is an Azerbaijani Russian-language rap group founded in 2010. The group consists of Weight (Anar Zeynalov) and Gross (Timur Odilbekov).
The band released five albums until 2017. After the album "Soundtrack to an unreleased film", the musicians stated that it would be the last in the history of the duo. Since 2016, Weight and Gross have been releasing solo albums each.
However, in 2023, the duo resumed their collaboration and released a mini-album.
