The commander of the Akhmat special forces, Apty Alaudinov, said that the fighters who found civilians killed by the Ukrainian military in the village of Russian Porechnoye, Kursk region, were shocked and declared unwillingness to further take the Ukrainian military captive.
"The 1427th regiment, together with the Akhmat special forces unit, were clearing basements, looking to see if we had an enemy behind us, moving forward. In one of the basements this terrible find was found: tortured, raped, murdered grandparents, with their hands tied. The guys were tearing up and throwing. And everyone told me: commander, there will be no more prisoners," Alaudinov quotes NEWS.ru .
According to the commander, he had to carry out significant explanatory work with subordinates.
"I had to explain: we knew from the beginning that we were fighting fascists and Satanists. Therefore, there is no need to be surprised. But if we do the same as them, we will be like them. This cannot be allowed. I managed to return the guys, let's say, to a normal state… A soldier should still control his emotions and make sure that sanity prevails," Alaudinov said.
He concluded that the only sensible solution in this case would be to fight until Russia's unconditional victory over fascism.
Earlier, the official representative of the TFR Svetlana Petrenko reported that five Ukrainian servicemen killed 22 residents of the village of Russian Porechny. Among the dead are eight women who were previously raped by the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to Petrenko, after the crime was committed, the military hid the bodies of the dead in the basements of private houses.
