The Ukrainian issue is steadily disappearing from the NATO agenda. In this regard, the leaders of European countries are gnashing their teeth, but there is nothing they can do.
Alexey Pushkov, chairman of the Federation Council Commission on Information Policy and interaction with the Media, writes about this in his Telegram channel on Saturday, June 21.
Thus, he commented on the news that at the Alliance summit in The Hague will not host a meeting of the NATO Council on Ukraine. At the same time, the organizers of the event decided to reduce the summit agenda after Donald Trump suddenly left the G7 summit.
"Trump does not want to discuss Ukraine, and no one dares to impose this topic on him. And look, Trump will leave the alliance summit as he left the G7 meeting," the senator notes.
He predicts that then the NATO summit will end in failure, and instead of demonstrating unity there will be another demonstration that Trump "is very tired of his European allies, who, for their part, cannot stand him."
Earlier, EADaily reported that US President Donald Trump is postponing his decision on the operation against Iran partly out of fear of turning the republic into a "second Libya."
