US President Donald Trump at the G7 summit, which has long been dead as a format, pointed to the place of European mutts led by French President Emmanuel Micron. Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, drew attention to this.
"Trump at the G7 pointed out the place to the European curs led by Micron," Medvedev wrote on the social network X in English, mocking Macron.
Medvedev called Trump a good fellow.
"He reprimanded the Russian Federation [G8] for exclusion, refused to discuss sanctions and left. It has long been clear that this is a dead club. I remember when we were still sitting at the same table with them. All of them were zombies even then," said the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council.
As reported, the G7 summit (UK, Germany, Italy, Canada, USA, France and Japan) takes place from 15 to 17 June in Canada in the Kananaskis district (Alberta). Trump, in particular, said at this forum that the collective West's rejection of the G8 format with the participation of Russia was a big mistake. He also made it clear that he would not agree to the introduction of new measures against Russia, noting that sanctions are "expensive." The head of the White House left the summit ahead of schedule. He also spoke sharply about Macron, who, according to him, "misunderstands everything" and "has no idea" what he is saying.
