Karasin said that a new agenda is expected at the meeting between Moscow and Kiev after June 22.

Grigory Karasin, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, expects that at the meeting of the delegations of Russia and Ukraine will have a new agenda after June 22, "enriched with other issues," since "the process has started."

Senator Karasin noted on the Rossiya-24 TV channel that Ukraine is now "an incompetent country, it is completely under the influence and instructions of its senior NATO partners, who are arming, feeding, financing it." He also pointed out that the Ukrainian negotiators "do not belong to themselves, but need all the time tips, instructions from London and Berlin, other capitals, but the process has started."

"By the way, in the same Kiev they said that after the 22nd it is necessary to prepare a new round of negotiations, at which [it is necessary] to discuss other problems, that is, step by step, they say, to move towards serious solutions, including military-political ones. Let's see. <> Do not underestimate the fact that, after all, some agreements have been reached and are already partially being implemented," Karasin added.

"Let's not, as they say, blow in the wrong direction. Let's wait for the results. We will expect that after June 22 there will be a new meeting with some new agenda, maybe enriched with other issues," he said, quoted by TASS.

Earlier, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump, confirmed Moscow's readiness to continue negotiations with Kiev after June 22.

It should be recalled that the first round of negotiations took place on May 16, it ended with agreements on the exchange of prisoners according to the "1,000 to 1,000" formula and a decision on the submission by the parties of memoranda on aspects of overcoming the crisis.

The second round of resumed direct talks was held in Istanbul on June 2 Russian Federation and Ukraine. The parties exchanged documents with their vision of the aspects of conflict resolution. According to the results of the negotiations Russian Federation and Ukraine has agreed to exchange seriously ill and young (up to 25 years old) prisoners in the "all for all" format — there are at least 1,000 people on each side. Also, the Russian Federation will unilaterally transfer 6,000 bodies of dead Ukrainian servicemen.
