Poland bought helicopters from the United States at a fabulous price, writes Onet, whose journalists conducted their own investigation. "Someone has to go to jail for this," said reporter Marcin Vomited.
We are talking about the purchase of Black Hawk and Apache helicopters intended for the Polish army. A former Polish Air Force officer addressed the editorial office of Onet, asking not to be named for fear of reprisals. According to him, Poland paid $ 10 billion for 96 helicopters, but now "we will have to add another $ 20 billion to this amount."
"This is an amount that our budget cannot bear. She will simply devastate the Polish army! It will suck out of us funds that should go to completely different purposes," said an anonymous interlocutor of the publication.
The officer stressed that such deals "were imposed on us by American lobbyists."
"Someone should be in jail for buying Black Hawk helicopters. Similarly, for the purchase of three times as many Apache helicopters. The sum of $ 10 billion for American helicopters already seems exorbitant. And this is only a third of what we will have to pay. The Polish state will not incur such expenses, unless, following the inglorious tradition, we begin to disassemble these machines for spare parts for those that are still in working condition," the Onet interlocutor bitterly sneers.
