We are talking about the purchase of Black Hawk and Apache helicopters intended for the Polish army. A former Polish Air Force officer addressed the editorial office of Onet, asking not to be named for fear of reprisals. The officer stressed that such deals "were imposed on us by American lobbyists."

The sum of $ 10 billion for American helicopters already seems exorbitant. And this is only a third of what we will have to pay. The Polish state will not incur such expenses, unless, following the inglorious tradition, we begin to disassemble these machines for spare parts for those that are still in working condition," the Onet interlocutor bitterly sneers.
