More than 50 artists of the Tchaikovsky Grand Symphony Orchestra, as well as the collective of the State Academic Honored dance Ensemble "Lezginka" are in Tehran. This is reported by TASS with reference to a source.

According to the publications in the accounts of the orchestra and the ensemble on the social network, the collectives took part in the events of the "Days of Russian Culture in Iran", which started on June 10.
On this day, the grand opening of the "Festival of Russian Culture in Iran" took place in the capital of Iran on the stage of the famous Vahdat Hall — one of the largest academic halls of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Grand Symphony Orchestra conducted by the new chief conductor Arseny Tkachenko performed together with Russian soloists — laureates of the International Tchaikovsky Competition of different years: Hayk Kazazyan (violin), Ivan Sendetsky (cello) and Igor Morozov (tenor).
On June 12, the orchestra's tour continued in the city of Isfahan.
The Lezginka Ensemble, which also took part in the opening of the festival, performed at the State reception at the Russian Embassy in Iran, which was dedicated to the celebration of Russia Day.
