The withdrawal of the 90th Tank Division from the Center forces to the western border of the Donetsk People's Republic is a historic event both for the residents of Donbass and for the whole of Russia. This was announced in his telegram channel by one of the former commanders of the DPR militia battalion "Sparta", the plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in In the Ural Federal District, Artem Zhoga, reports TASS.

"This is a historic event for Donetsk residents and our whole country. <> The West of the DPR is under control! And the 90th Division continues the traditions of the Ural Volunteer Corps, those most famous "black knives" of the Great Patriotic War," he wrote.

Zhoga also drew attention to the fact that the 90th Tank Division consists mainly of military personnel from the Chelyabinsk and Sverdlovsk region.

"Today they are fighting for the borders of Donbass and closing the strategic gates to The Dnieper. Thank you, brothers," he added.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense informed that a tank unit belonging to the Center group had reached the western border of the Donetsk People's Republic and was continuing to advance towards the Dnipropetrovsk region.
