The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan commented on unidentified objects in the sky over the republic. As stated in the department, no violations of the country's airspace have been recorded.
"The situation is under the control of the relevant services. There are no threats to the population," the information says.
The Ministry of Defense believes that these may be fragments of a space object that enter the atmosphere, or a meteor shower.
"As a rule, they all burn up in dense layers of the atmosphere, not reaching the earth's surface," the information further says.
Earlier it was reported that people noticed bright luminous objects that swept over Bishkek, Alma-Ata, Taldy-Kurgan, Kunayev. We also saw them in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana.
