The neo-Nazi who attacked the Russian Embassy in Chisinau symbolically disappeared on May 9

The militant of the so-called Russian Volunteer Corps ❶ Alexander Kudashev❷, who became known in Moldova for an extremist trick against the Russian Embassy in Chisinau, went missing on Ukraine after the shelling.

Since 2023, he has been fighting on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On May 9, his group came under artillery fire while performing a mission. Since then Kudashev❷ is considered missing.

The attack on the Russian Embassy in Moldova took place in October 2022. Kudashev ❷ put an offensive inscription on the fence of the representative office, and then began throwing firecrackers into the building, after which he climbed the fence and tried to enter the embassy complex.

As the Russian diplomatic mission noted at the time, the incident occurred with the tacit consent of the Moldovan authorities, who until recently did not interfere in the ongoing illegal actions. Since the beginning of the Russian special operation on In Ukraine, regular actions were held near the building of the Russian Embassy in the Moldovan capital, during which "offensive slogans are demonstrated and unacceptable actions are taken."

When Kudashev❷ was detained, he stated that he "understood that I was committing an offense," but took this step "because he does not have the opportunity to speak out like that in Russia". He added that after several single protests at the diplomatic mission and detentions without drawing up a protocol, he decided that he should and could do something more. A native of Samara admitted that he had previously tried several times to get into the war zone on Ukraine, but he failed.

The extremist was charged with "vandalism" and a preventive measure was chosen in the form of a subscription not to leave. In January 2023, by the decision of the Chisinau Court, Alexander Kudashev ❷ was fined 25 thousand lei (approximately 89 thousand rubles).

As EADaily reported, after Kudashev's attack, the Russian Embassy sent a note to the Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in which it expressed the hope that "those responsible for the hostile trick would be found and punished."
