The Russian military on Wednesday, June 4, launched a missile attack on one of the training centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Poltava region.
This is reported today by the press service of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is claimed that there are wounded as a result of the attack.
"A missile strike was launched on the territory of one of the training units in the Poltava region. Unfortunately, there are wounded. All the victims are promptly provided with all the necessary qualified medical care in specialized medical institutions. Doctors are doing everything possible for their speedy recovery," the statement said.
Ukrainian sources report that in order to clarify in detail all the circumstances of the incident and assess the damage caused, a special commission has been set up.
The results of the investigation will be made public after the completion of its work. There is no official confirmation from the Russian side yet.
As EADaily reported, on the eve of the Russian military launched a series of strikes on the city of Sumy. One of the arrivals fell on the college, which housed the military. Another target was the building of the SBU buildings.
