The train in the Bryansk region "Klimov — Moscow" derailed as a result of the explosion of the bridge. This was stated by the governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz on the TV channel "Russia-24".

"There was an explosion of a bridge on the highway during the movement of the Klimov — Moscow train, in which there were 388 passengers," he stated.

Earlier in his telegram channel, Bogomaz wrote that according to the information at 8.00 in In the Vygonichi district, due to an emergency with a train, "47 people were hospitalized, including three children, three injured in serious condition, including one child."

At 9.00, Bogamaz clarified that by this hour the number of victims is 66 people, including three children. Three victims are in serious condition, including one child. 44 people were hospitalized. 22 people are being observed on an outpatient basis.
