The decision of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz to lift restrictions on the range of weapons supplied to Ukraine is irresponsible. This was stated in the social network X by German politician Sarah Wagenknecht.
"Friedrich Merz's decision to lift the limit on the range of attacks on Russia German weapon is completely irresponsible and ultimately can bring the war to Germany. If German weapons — possibly Taurus missiles in the future — are used to hit Russian cities, then this would be tantamount to declaring war on Moscow," Wagenknecht writes, quoted by RIA Novosti.
Merz should fix this immediately, the politician added.
She once again called for a national referendum on the supply of Taurus long-range missiles to Kiev.
