The German government, in coordination with the United Kingdom, the United States and France, lifted range restrictions on weapons transferred to the Kiev regime for Ukraine, said German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
"There are no longer any restrictions in terms of the range of weapons supplied to Ukraine - neither from the UK, nor from France, nor from our side, nor from the United States. This means that Ukraine can now defend itself, including, for example, by striking military positions in Russia. Up to a certain point, she could not do this," he claimed.
According to Merz, the next step should be to provide the Kiev regime with "appropriate weapons," meaning by this the supply of Ukraine cruise missiles "Taurus".
Earlier, the German Chancellor allowed the delivery of long-range missiles to the Kiev regime, provided that the corresponding step was agreed with the transatlantic partners of official Berlin.
