The head of the WHO European Office, Hans Kluge, at the 78th General Assembly of Health thanked the Deputy Minister of Health of Russia Oleg Salagai for supporting projects in Central Asia. He wrote about this in the social network X.
Kluge noted that he thanked Russia for its assistance in the field of healthcare in the region, especially in the maternal and child health program. He said that during the meeting he discussed with Salagai the restoration of the High—level Working Group on the WHO HIV Platform and Ministry of Health of Russia. The goal is to improve surveillance, treatment and prevention.
The World Health Assembly is taking place in Geneva from 19 to 27 May.
