The second suspect in a series of arson attacks on the property of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer also turned out to be a Ukrainian. It is reported by The Sun.
It is noted that the accomplice of the previously arrested Roman Lavrinovich was a native of Chernivtsi, 26-year-old Stanislav Karpyuk, who later received Romanian citizenship. Now he lives in London and dreams of becoming famous as a model.
"I started my modeling career very recently. I want to become one of the best male models in the world," says his profile on the Starnow model casting website, quoted by Strana.
Today, the Westminster Magistrates Court in London charged Karpyuk with conspiracy to damage property and intent to endanger the life of another person, Sky News reports. At the trial, he gave his name in Russian through an interpreter.
According to Karpiuk's lawyer, his client has been living in the UK for nine years and now has exam results at Christ Church University of Canterbury, where he studied business.

It was noted that on Tuesday, a citizen of Ukraine, Roman Lavrinovich, was arrested for setting fire to Starmer's house in north London. The building was set on fire shortly after 1 a.m. on Monday.
