Yakut journalist, TV presenter of the NBC (National Broadcasting Company) "Sakha" Alexei Semenov died while performing a combat mission in the zone of a special military operation. This is reported by the Ministry of Innovation, Digital Development and Infocommunication Technologies of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) on its page in the social network.
"Alexey was not only a talented journalist, the host of the information program "Sakha Shire" and "Kunten kun“, but also a true patriot of his country. His courage and dedication are an example for all of us," the message says.
It is specified that Semenov went to the special operation as a volunteer, he served under the call sign "NVK".
"In this difficult hour, we share the grief with his family and friends. The memory of Alexei will forever remain in our hearts," said the head of the department Vasily Efimov.
