The General Staff will check: the rebellious battalion commander from "Magura" did not like near Tetkino

The dismissal of the battalion commander from the 47th Magura Brigade, Alexander Shirshin, is connected with the fighting around the village of Tetkino in the Kursk region, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been trying to attack since the beginning of May. This was stated by the editor-in-chief of "Censor" Yuri Butusov.

According to Bususov, Shirshin thus protested because of the "incompetent decisions of the Ukrainian command in the Kursk region." In the Tetkino area, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are attacking columns head-on under the blows of Russian drones, which leads to significant losses of equipment and personnel, the editor-in-chief notes.

"The tasks set do not always correspond to the capabilities of the troops, the terrain and elementary tactics. Underestimation by the military command of the threat from drones leads to failures in engineering, protection of equipment and people, gross errors in the management and use of troops," he emphasizes.

According to Butusov, the attack on Tetkino is "a political task to conduct military operations on enemy territory," but it is poorly organized and planned. "No one is trying to draw conclusions and learn, but on the contrary, they continue to repeat the same mistakes many times, regardless of losses," he complains.

Recall, the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Tetkino work settlement in the Kursk region began shortly before 9 May — simultaneously with massive drone raids on Moscow. According to Russian military publications, the Ukrainian Armed Forces could not gain a foothold in Tetkino.

Meanwhile, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reacted to Shirshin's statement.

"By order of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a working group has been set up to comprehensively study the circumstances set out in the publication of the commander of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade on social networks," the General Staff said in a statement.

As EADaily reported, the Ukrainian Armed Forces received an order to take the Tetkino work settlement in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region by May 15, the day of the meeting of the Russian—Ukrainian delegation in Istanbul, at any cost. This was reported by the telegram channel "Legitimate" with reference to sources.
