During these hours, the first direct talks between the Russian and Turkish delegations in three years are taking place in Istanbul. In Ukraine, they are held in a closed mode from the press.

There are 9 representatives of the Russian Federation and 11 representatives of Ukraine at the negotiating table in Istanbul. Before the start, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made an introductory speech. According to him, the meeting of representatives of Moscow and Kiev is a chance that should not be missed.
