The Russian-Ukrainian talks in Istanbul, scheduled for this morning, have been postponed to the afternoon. This is an initiative of the Turkish side, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.
At the same time, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Vladimir Putin is not going to participate. A delegation headed by Presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky was sent to the talks.
According to information at the moment, the talks will be held after lunch in the same place as in 2022 — in the working office of the administration of the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the center of Istanbul.
The Russian delegation includes Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, Chief of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Igor Kostyukov, Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin.
